TECHNICAL
DSAT Discover Tec Diving
The Discover Tec lets you try technical diving equipment and procedures. You learn about technical diving and get to try it out. Plus, Discover Tec experiences can also credit towards the Tec 40 course.
DSAT Tec 40
Consists of four dives. You will learn to:
• Use decompression software and dive computers to plan and make decompression dives (no more than 10 minutes not deeper than 40 metres)
• Use a single cylinder of decompression gas with up to 50 percent oxygen (EANx50).
DSAT Tec 45
Consists of four dives.You will learn:
• Skills,equipment and planning to dive 45 metres.
• To plan and execute single and repetitive decompression dives using a stage cylinder of EANx or oxygen to accelerate or add conservatism.
• No time limit of decompression.
• Prepare for and respond to emergencies.
• Master skills and procedures.
DSAT Tec 50
• Make decompression dives as deep as 50 metres.
• Use nitrox and/or oxygen for decompression
• Use desktop decompression software to create dive tables and plan your dives
• Qualify to make decompression dives independently
Tec Trimix 65
• The course extends your depth range capabilities by training you to use trimix (a blend of helium, oxygen and nitrogen).
You will:
• Use decompression software to create dive tables and dive plans
• Make training dives as deep as 65 metres.
Gas Blender Course
The Gas Blender course will train you as a qualified gas blender, allowing you to provide gas mixes to appropriately certified consumers.
It can result in one of two certifications:
PADI Gas Blender or PADI Trimix Blender.
PADI Sidemount Diver Distinctive Specialty
The course will provide training for divers learning to use equipment in this configuration. Knowledge development and practical application. Divers will also participate in a series of open water training sessions.
